HELLO!
You may have come to this website because you want to learn a bit about me and about the possibility of coaching with me. You have either heard about me through some of my articles or, more likely, a friend (client) has recommended me to you.
So – I will give you some information about myself, but I also want you to know about the type of clients I work with. My clients come from all walks of life, many geographical areas, and various professions. But what they all have in common is a desire to change and learn more about themselves. They also share a willingness to take action to accomplish change.
My clients have good lives, but something is bothering them, like:
· Stress
· Overwhelm
· Job dissatisfaction
· Relationship challenges
· Problems with a boss or co-workers
· Managing people
· Feeling stuck
· Wondering “Is this all there is?”
The coaching process works like this: first we get clear about what you want your life/situation to look like and what your priorities and values are. Our sessions are conducted either on the phone or by Skype.
Next we determine a plan, a few focus areas, and action steps which will lead you to more happiness/success in your life.
Together we brainstorm ideas and find out what motivates you. And during each session I hold you accountable to your goals – after all, no one else does! And you’ll find that each goal accomplished leads to a feeling of control and hopefulness.
If this process resonates with you, I may be the perfect coach for you.
Now for information about my background. I have a Master’s Degree from UCLA and have had various careers: college professor (Cal State Long Beach and Cornell), athletic coach, business owner, VP of sales for a large corporation, and, best of all, a successful Life/Executive Coach for 15 years.
Since I don’t have to market my coaching business anymore, I gave up my fancy website a few months ago. Almost all of my clients now come from word-of-mouth.
If this is enough information for you to make a decision to move forward, great. If not, you can choose to take advantage of a complimentary 30 minute coaching call to see if we are a good match.
You can email me at gretchen@coachgretchen.com
